Under the direction of a physician, home care provides a full range of health care services to heal the mind, body, and spirit. The following skilled services are offered:

Home Health Aides
Home care professionals assess, educate, and provide monitoring and treatment for diabetes, kidney disease, stroke, heart-lung disease and other illnesses. Home care can help you recover from a surgery and rehabilitate to greater independence and health. Home care can also help you and your family cope with recently developed conditions, such as high blood pressure or heart disease. Other services include specialty care for terminal illness, pain management, I.V. therapy, well mother/baby visits, and coordinating with local agencies for medical equipment and supplies.
To qualify for home health care you must:

Have a physician home health order

Need intermittent skilled nursing or rehabilitative services

Require considerable effort to leave your home

Have an adequate home environment that supports home care
You may obtain services by requesting home care from your physician, hospital discharge planner, or by contacting Adventist Health Home Care Services directly.
